The Slo-Poke GrubMaster® Jig has a unique, weight centered body. Unlike power heads and ball jigs that plunge head first vertically, the weight centered GrubMaster falls slowly and horizontally, keeping the bait in the strike zone longer. This phenomenon makes it easier for fish to inhale the bait. Additionally, the horizontal orientation gives the bait a unique gliding, swimming action, like real baitfish. The horizontal position of the hook provides positive, roof of the mouth hook sets that fish can't easily shake. The GrubMaster is ideal for light line, finesse presentations.

Now Grub'n Anglers can create their own custom colors. The Slo-Poke GrubMaster® is designed to enhance the color of plastics. The Create-A-Bait^TM concept is an exciting new look in jig and grub color combinations. The placement of a uniquely colored GrubMaster, inside a transparent plastic body, allows the jighead to shine through and provide background color. This phenomenon, Create- A-Bait^TM, can either subtly enhance or completely transform the color of plastics. Color combinations are limited only to the imagination. Now the innovative Grub'n Angler can match the hatch by creating a limitless number of custom color patterns by simply mixing and matching jigs and plastic tails. A Create-A-Bait^TM Color Chart has been developed to illustrate a variety of basic baitfish patterns that can be created by mixing and matching Grub and jighead colors. The Create-A-Bait^TM Color Chart is available at baitrigs.com or FREE inside all GrubMaster kits.

The Slo-Poke GrubMaster can be fished like a Carolina Rig with more feel and control. The GrubMaster falls slowly and horizontally like a Carolina Rig but exhibits more feel and control because the line tie is direct to the jig.

The Slo-Poke GrubMaster excels in weeds, wood and rock. The horizontal orientation of the jig and its forward eyelet allows the GrubMaster to slip over and through heavy structure where crankbaits, spinners and other lures are less effective.

The Slo-Poke GrubMaster is versatile and can be fished in a wide variety of presentations. By varying the retrieve a limitless number of presentations can be achieved. Slow to fast or steady retrieve, shallow to deep, start to stop and in-between, all in one bait. It can be fished like a Carolina Rig, bottom presentations can be accomplished by long-lining and slowly dragging or initiating a stop and go movement over bottom.

The Slo-Poke GrubMaster is available in 2-pack, 6-pack and 20-pack bulk jighead configurations. A complete Grub Kit Model SS-75, featuring a variety of 3” & 5” Kalin's® Lunker Grubs.

The Slo-Poke GrubMaster features VMC® performance hooks. A variety of 2-tone jig colors and 3 sizes are available, 1/16 4/0, 1/8 4/0 and 1/4 4/0.
