Trim to custom fit need: Natural Ice is
designed so that it can easily be trimmed to fit almost
any need. The channels between the cubes are wide enough
to easily accommodate ordinary household scissors; or,
if you buy our Cooling Solutions Kit, we include a
specially designed trimmer for the task. You can quickly
trim a sheet into narrow strips or even individual cubes
which are great for scattering loose in a cooler; or,
for use as a cold therapy treatment for minor bruises or
headaches.

Use Velcro to secure ice sheet in place:
Use Velcro to attach custom sheets to either soft or hard
coolers. This is a great idea for your child's school
lunch. Simply trim the sheet of Natural Ice to fit the
top of their lunch box. Attach velcro strips to the back
side of the sheet of Natural Ice (It's flat so velcro is
easily applied). Then, put the matching "receiving"
strip of velcro on the inside lid. (NOTE: This task
should be done on Natural Ice before it is frozen to
avoid condensation that would prevent the velcro
adhesive from sticking.) The Natural Ice sheet can now
easily be removed, washed, frozen and reused without
worrying about it being thrown out with the rest of your
child's lunch trash.

Use Natural Ice to create a uniform "Cold
Zone" - Because cold air falls, by covering the
entire contents of your cooler with a "blanket" of
Natural Ice, you create a uniform Cold Zone that effectively
keeps everything in the cooler cold and dry.
Helpful Hint #4
Washing instructions: Wash Natural Ice in
your kitchen sink using household dish detergent. Wash
and rinse before refreezing. Use of a dishwasher to
clean Natural Ice is not recommended. However, you can
use an automatic dishwasher if you take care to keep the
flexible ice sheets away from the appliance's heating
element(s) and place the sheet so it cannot fall thru
any large opening(s) in the washer rack.
Helpful Hint #5
Freezing instructions: Natural Ice can be
rolled, folded or stored flat depending on the available
space in your freezer. However, if you need a quick
freeze, you will get the best results if you can lay the
sheet flat. If you want to freeze a large amount of try a putting
a spacer between sheets to allow for maximum air circulation

Sportsmen: Besides using Natural Ice to keep their food
and drinks cold, sportsmen can also use Natural Ice to keep their bait
cold. Ordinary ice melts away, leaving a soggy mess that can drown bait.
Additionally, Ice cubes typically contain chlorine that cripples or kills
live bait. Natural Ice keeps bait cold without chlorine or water mess.
Simply custom trim a sheet to the size of your bait canteen or, cut into
strips or cubes and loosely scatter within the canteen.
