The Double D is a slow sinking Lure. Fished at a moderate slow retrieve, the Double D will run just below the surface. At a slow retrieve, the Double D will reach a maximum depth of 6 feet. At a faster steady retrieve the Double D will run on the surface with a great walking action. The Double D is perfect for fishing over and around cover such as weeds, rocks, and wood. The Double D is also great for skipping under or around docks using any place where the big fish hide, waiting to ambush their prey.

Instructions for hook installation

• Step 1. Push up and forward on the belly of the bait (this is to locate the tube inside the bait).
• Step 2. Use a hook point to puncher the rubber in the nose of the bait and find the tube opening.
• Step 3. Push the fishing line into tube, remove finger from belly and continue pushing the line through the belly of the bait.
• Step 4. String a 4 mm. bead on the line, then tie on your hook. A #1 treble hook is recommended.
• Step 5. Place one of the barbs of the treble hook into the belly of the bait, making sure it's centered.
• Recommended 15 lbs test line with the 6 inch and 12 lbs test line with the 5 inch.

Note: Hooks and Beads are not included with this bait. If you use Pro Line or Spider Wire type line you might have to clean the tube out with mono first.
